About the author
Caroline is the bestselling author of four books: Maggie’s Kitchen, Eleanor’s Secret, Finding Eadie and Esther’s Children. Her debut novel was shortlisted for Booktopia’s Best Historical Fiction in 2016 and nominated as Book of the Year, and Caroline as Best New Author, by AusRom Today.
She has been sharing stories for over twenty years, firstly through
documentary, film and drama, before discovering her love of fiction writing.
She now combines her passion for telling stories inspired by real events with
shedding light on lesser-known histories and particularly those of pioneering
women.
Like the characters in her third novel, Finding Eadie, Caroline believes in the power of books and reading to inspire, entertain and transform. That historical fiction offers the opportunity to look at our worlds and the human condition through a different lens, and those unforgettable characters can lead us to a place where the past and present intersect. And that compelling storytelling offers timeless strong themes, complex emotion and sometimes pure joy and escapism. She hopes you enjoy going on a journey with her in her novels.
